| Grown male yorkie potty problem We have 3 yorkies, Mom, Dad & Son, the Son (Gibbs) is about 3 years old. They are all house broken. But recently one or possibly both of the males have started urinating in the house. I was wondering if they are "marking" their territory. The Mom (Abbie) was spayed after her 1st litter. The thought occurred to be that having the males neutered might be a solution, although is hasn't become a big problem, yet. We really need to solve this problem, HELP?! |

| Welcome to YT! I would definitely neuter the boys sooner than later. Intact males usually do mark, and now that one or both have started marking, it may take a while for them to stop even after being neutered. You may want to consider belly bands in the meantime. Bottom line - neuter, neuter, neuter! It also makes for less health problems as they age.
