| Potty training inside (when raining) and outside Titus dislikes going to the bathroom outside when its raining. I'm not sure if any other furbaby owners have this problem. I mean I understand not wanting to go outside when it rains I dont like it either but I would rather have him go potty outside. Every time it rains over here I try to take him out but he high tails it back inside the house and in a few minutes he does his business inside the house instead lol...sigh. I'm not sure what to do...should I just compromise and have a puppy pad/ fake grass pad in the house or will that confuse him to think he can go inside the house now? If this is the only option I have then I only want him to use it if its raining not all the time. Or is there another way to go about it? |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Mine don't like it either my male Quincy most of all. Sometime when it raining he will pee in the garage leading out to our dog run. But I force them (all 4 of them) to go out whether they like it or not. Mine also do the turn and run back toward the door when they see the rain but I make them turn right back around and stay out. There are even time when I have to go out and watch them to make sure they are all going potty before I let them go inside. This is much hard to do if there is thunder . . . boy are they big babies when they hear a lightening bolt. They will just plain refuse to go out, thankfully we never have any accidents during a thunder storm. I refuse to have my home used as a toilet over a little rain. Plus those types of habits are really really hard to correct once they start.
