| positive sign right?! so we're on about day 4 of what i call operation housebreaking boot camp for my 2 year old Hunter LOL....i'm determined to get this stupid belly band off of my dog ) i hate it cus it makes his fur all brown and gross down there anyways... last night we're sitting on the couch and he's sleeping...i've been using the umbiliical method which means having him tethered to me ... and he starts getting restless...getting up and turning around and laying back down and i know this is a sign that he needs to go out but i just kind of wait it out and see what he does...see if he gives me some sort of sign that he needs to go out... i had extended the retractable leash enough for him to get down anywhere in the living room and go if thats what he so chose to do but he didn't...he put both his paws on my chest and kind of started "scratching" and pawing at me good sign right?! progress?! |

| Sounds like a great step forward! Hope that came with a reward after he went potty. LOL I'm sure you're over the moon proud! We are potty training too and feeling like we are making progress. Makes you feel so good when they start catching on. So happy for you and your pup!!
