| Ben's started barking at noises. Ben's 13 weeks old now and started to bark at noises he doesn't recognise. Can be dogs, birds squawking - even my phone text messages. What should I do. I fear that just telling him to shut up might give him attention and reinforce the barking/growling - I reward him for calm stuff in anycase. Will it go away or should I be doing something to calm him down? by the way - the potty training sorted itself out. I relaxed about an in house toilet and Ben is happy to go outside most of the time and use the in house toilet when needs must. Works for us both. I am pleased that he doesn't treat the rest of the house as a toilet except for very occasional mistakes - a lot of fuss (on my part) about nothing in the end. Just new dog owner nerves. |
