| Duncan is a doll but a very willful little boy I am new to the world of the Yorkie, I have a 5 yr old yorkie-poo and a 3 yr old bull-jack. Now I have added my little man. I got him at age 10wks and thought the training was going well. We are now at age 5 mos and he will go out pretty well in the morning for me but I leave my back door open for the dogs to all run in and out while I am getting ready for work. Duncan doesn't seem to mind running with the "big dogs". I am having trouble with him obeying certain commands I have been trying to teach him to "come" when called but he just looks at me cocks his little head and runs the other way. I will not chase him because I don't want him to think this is a game. I have tried treats and praise. Will he eventually get this? My little guy who is suppose to be gentle and loving is feisty an rambunctious. He wrestles with the 2 older dogs and especially the bull-jack, she is our only female. The yorkie-poo is a male. |
