| Potty trained in two days ? My little guy jun has been using his indoor bathroom about 95% of the time. I had about 5 set up the first day he came home. He was going on or near them for the first day. Then yesterday i took all the other options away and only left the most soiled one. Today i cleaned it up and he has been using fresh one very well. Is it normal that he was trained so quickly. i stil keep an i on him, but he seems to not be getting into trouble. I just placed my rug back in the living room. He has been trying to bite it, but so far he looks like he is not going to go on it.. knock on wood. |

he is a smart little guy. all yorkies are different , some take to potty pad training right away and some are very stubborn about it , like my oscar. he never did like the potty pads . he uses a dog litterbox 100% now. congrats , it looks like your little man is on the right track. if you do see him sniffing in other areas you could always give him one more pad just as another option .. , your call.... | |

| Jun you are 1 smart little puppy. Some are very easy to potty train I got Lucky my Luci was an easy one to. She is now learning to go out side now, but will only piddle out there. She still comes running in side to her piddle pad to do number 2. Aren't Yorkies just the dearest little dogs? Luci makes my heart melt every time I look at her. Have a great day. Anne/Luci. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Congratulations to both you and Jun. He sounds like a brilliant Yorkie. My Romeo was trained the first day I brought him home but he will ONLY use wee pads, and never goes outside. If you have throw rugs you may want to pick them up for a while. Even though Romeo was wee pad trained I would occasionally find wet "accident" spots on the throw rugs. Once I got those off the floor (maybe 6 months before I put them back down) those accidents were all gone!

Sounds like you are doing an excellent job of monitoring him so you are creating an environment where he is successful. Hope you are praising him like crazy for going where you want him to....a treat & a happy potty dance will do wonders to reinforce his good potty habits.
