Donating YT 500 Club Member | Taycie Practicing Sit, Stay, and Touch. Taycie and I went to our first training class and have been working on Sit, Down and Touch. ( MESSED Up On the title... not Stay... down) She already knew sit and down but the touch command was new to us so we are working on it. She really is getting the hang of it! GO US! Just shot this video with my phone really quick. It isn't the best quality as I found it is rather hard to hold a phone and hand treats at the same time.. LOL! I just get a kick of how cute she is. And when she does "down" it has to be my absolute favorite! Just wanted to share! SO PROUD of my GIRL!

| Awww...you're such a good mommy! Your little girl isn't only smart, she's beautiful! Her "touch" is adorable Does she "paw" yet? I LOVE it when my Yoshi does "paw". It's too cute when he raises his little paw at me. Congrats

Donating YT 500 Club Member | No not yet. Our homework this week was sit, down touch, and look. We need to practice look. Basically look is to get them to keep focused on you. I haven't practiced that one yet... but today we will.

I am loving the training facility we are at. There are so many more classes we can advance too. They have alot of advanced manner classes and they also have Agility and Nosework. Last night I was Googling Agility online and it looks like SO much fun. I really would love to do that but I am not sure Taycie will.. So my goal is to continue with the rest of the basic/advanced manner classes which I think will keep us busy through the winter and hopefully by next spring/summer we can start Agility... I know just through basic training she is building her confidence so when we do reach that point that we can start Agility she will be a more confident dog. We will just have to see if it will be "HER" thing. I hope so because I think it looks like SO much fun! So that is where we are headed!!!!

If you want more inspiration, check out a few of these YouTube channels, who are my favorites and always re-inspire me over and over again. The reason I teach Jackson so many tricks is not just for show, it's the incredible bond & trust that is formed while learning them. Zak George's Dog Training Revolution - YouTube Clicker Dog Training - YouTube Pam's Dog Training in San Diego! - YouTube Dog training explained - YouTube Zak George is my fav, I love his training philosophies, as I've always trained Jackson the way he does... I get down on his level, I 'talk' to him, I let him know what we're going to do, I encourage him to try new things, and get really excited when he does them. It's amazing to see what a dog can do when treated like an equal, and not just mindlessly obeying your orders because "You say so" or "I am the pack leader/alpha dog". I'm thrilled to see you and Taycie so excited!
