Hey, thanks. She's still doing it, no matter what I do, so that may be my next purchase. Thank you again. Pam

This made me smile Dexter plays with his water too, like a cat, he paws at it and flicks it around lol My vet, who has 2 Yorkies (god send for treating him correctly) told me she thinks Yorkies are half dog-half cat

Well, I don't know abut the 'half cat' thing, but the term 'Yorkshire terrorist' seems to be accurate!

My Sheldon does this with his food bowl when he wants more food, he kicks it up side down and drags it all over the floor with his front paws, it it the funniest thing to watch. Yesterday for the 1st time he did this with his water bowl and dumped it all over the floor. I then washed the bowl and gave him fresh water and he drank it.

I wish that's all it was with Coco. No matter what I do, change the water, change the bowl, etc. she just randomly starts playing in the water and then will start moving it and dumping it if I don't stop her. I'm really hoping its just a 'phase' and it will end soon.

I see your little one is still being mischeivious. I still think that by putting her food and water in some sorts of "rack/stand" will eliminate the tipping her water! Or you could get a mat under her bowls. One with a raised lip on the edge to catch the water. dog food bowl stand - Google Search Non-Skid Pet Dinner Mat / Placemat Dog Products - GregRobert Pet Supplies

| I have that kind of mat and it saves a lot of work, if I catch her before she moves the bowl off of it. I originally had the bowl in the stand when she started this nonsense! She would somehow manage to spill and flip it. She puts her paws in it and just keeps at it! She's a feisty little girl when she wants to be! Good thing I love her so much! Thanks for your help. | messy too Leia also pushes her bowl around... her water and food bowls are on a placemat but if I leave her food bowl on the placemat and leave her home alone she'll push her food bowl around the kitchen... of course spilling the water bowl... so the answer is to put the food bowl up on the counter before I leave... Or her idea, don't leave me home alone, MOM!! I want to go with!!... LOL. Such a funny girl.
