| House trained but pees on rugs... My 9 month old female yorkie is mostly house broken...she uses a puppy mat, one of those that looks like grass...she pees and poops on it. But we have very minimal carpet in our house and she seems to find any piece of carpet or rug and pee on it....help....not sure what to do to stop her! |

YT 1000 Club Member | When I got Romeo we trained him to use a wee pad in just one day. However, I'd often find "mistakes" on the throw rugs. I picked up all the throw rugs and left the floors bare (hardwood or granite) for at least a couple months and then one by one slowly introduced rugs again. That cured Romeo of "mistakes". Not sure if this would work for you but give it a try.
