My furkids Donating Member | poop walker We just added a tiny boy to our family of 2 girls....Sadie...older of the three, will stay on the pad and do her business....Lillie and our new little Bentley are poop walkers!! They have good intentions going on the pad but walk as they are pooping! can't scold them cause they are starting out on the pad but ending up on the floor...any suggestions on how to correct this?

YT 1000 Club Member | I know this may sound like a waste of pads but maybe lay out a track of pads for them...? I am so fortunate that it took just one day to wee pad train Romeo but he will only use wee pads (never the outdoors).

| Haha...that sounds like my Moo! I was told she is a Biewer...buuuut...I think she is the more 'rare' Walkinpooper. You don't see them often because they are good at disguising themselves but when you do you know exactly what they are Miss Moo also has to take her time and find just the right spot to poop...she 'checked out' 3 spots this morning before she found the right one and you can't distract her or she has to start over But at least she goes outside and, even with all of her little quirks...you gotta love her...in our eyes...she's an Angel |

| Could you put the pee pads in something with an edge to it so they can't walk off it. Similar to wee pad in lid of xerox box.

| I haven't had much luck with the pads myself. But, I'd suggest putting them in a corner if possible. Perhaps you could block the exposed sides of the pad to try to prevent them from walking off the sides. |

| Litter box or pad box? So it's not just on the ground, they actually have to sort of hop in to get into it? Or laying out more pads?

My furkids Donating Member | thanks for the suggestions everyone...I actually have a dog litter box...I tried using doggie litter in it (when we got our first yorkie girl 7 years ago) and she would eat the litter....this is why I went to the pads...I am going to try putting the pad in the box and see if they will use it...

| Wish I could get Kobi to use the puppy pads. He refuses to use them and only goes on the pavement outside, no grass. We nearly freeze having to go outside. Any suggestions ?
