| Please calm me and my potty woes. So potty training has never scared me, until this pup. At what age can you really expect a Yorkie to participate in the potty traiing process? I don't want to sound like a breed snob but by this time with my "big dogs" we were much further along in the process. Then I see belly bands and freak out thinking that they aren't *just* for marking that maybe this breed is the hardest to potty train and people just give up and stick them in diapers! What have I gotten myself into? There is a wealth of knowledge here and I am really looking to gain perspective before this weekend when make a fresh start, and dive in to a set schedule (I have always used the 7 days method on foster dogs)..... am I expecting too much? I know the breeder let him go a bit early so I have tried to compensate with extra mommy time, etc... now I am just rambling! Help? (He is 11 weeks today) |
