I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() You can subsitute the water aversion for another aversion like a loud noise. It's the other part of the training that's important. Allowing them to bark to alert you and then quieting them down when it's enough.

| ![]() Allie will take a dip in the pool, in the shower and even in her water bowl. A spray bottle doesn't work to deter her barking....she just sits there and plays in it as I spray. Goofy dog. She hates being given a bath though.

| ![]() lola is learning the term "Enough" pretty well, even without use of the bottle. I think i used the bottle two times. the sight of it is enough to quiet her down. though i do allow her to bark then ask "do u have to go outside" and if that prompts her darting around and we go out she always at least pee pees. so that is ok |
