The first thing that jumps out at me at this post is why this person got a dog in the first place. Seems it was left to its own devices, had to teach or not teach itself basic things like where to relieve itself or not, was not trained and socialized properly, etc. Treating a dog like a toy for selfish reasons makes me so mad, this person didnt obviously put in the time or dedication to train the pup right, now years later i am not suprised by its behavior at all. i think it was a good effort to try to trian the pup, but why hasnt your gf in years?! and please dont lose your temper witha puppy, its not its fault. its like a child who has been left alone all day for years with no training, what would you expect...patience is a virtue. |

Well said my friends i agree with your every word..i allow no one to discipline my babies if they need to be thats my job |
Reading through the post I noticed that the OP openly admitted that had hatred for this tiny little baby. To me that says it all. Yorkies are very intelligent and can tell if they are in the presence of someone who loves them or not. I would not ever leave my babies with someone who made them feel uncomfortable or scared. This woman really needs to open her eyes and see what is going on. Either she needs to kick the jerk to the curb, or let this baby go to a rescue where it can be loved and cared for then placed in a home where it will never have to feel that kind of fear again. |
Well I do not think the OP is really that interested in answers as they have not logged back on since 10/06 and from what I can tell they have not read any posts because all posts were written after they had logged off. So it seems like someone is trying to stir things up. They must lead a rather boring life. |

I tend to do it when I know the post or thread may cause me to offer a comment that is not guarded or worded with though rather a knee jerk response. So maybe he has read. Or maybe he did what someone else suggested and moved out so it not longer his problem so he has moved on. Or maybe he is hard at work fixing things. Lots of sides to one thing not just that someone is stirring the pot or does not care. JL |

one more time... it's yorkietalkjilly (no 'e'). Sorry |
And the drama pot gets stirred again... |
Do you folks not realize that many of us grew up with household companions that were DOGS?! We had a chow mix mutt growing up. He was the guardian of the household. No one came through the front door until he approved. Pee inside? OMG NO! Poop inside? Don't even ask! Who trained him? I dunno... maybe my Dad who whacked us in the head for minor infractions... But he had pride and presence and knew who he was. I'm not sure my coddled baby boys have the pride and self-respect that "Sandy" had. Sandy had a job -- protector of the family. My boys seem to be flailing about trying to discover what their 'job' is. |

I think the bottom line is this OP is one of many (or most likely the same) that know exactly what pushes the passionate minds of YT & comes on here to see how riled up we can get. And he wins yet again. How many pages has this gone on despite it being pretty clear he's either not interested or not in need of our advice, but rather our entertainment? If there was a 'Ridiculous Threads' forum perhaps we could cluster them all together for those to see that aren't aware of them & we could avoid any of this negative behavior at all between us & those that do & don't doubt a thread. I think in the meantime people will use their own judgement & opinions on this public board to answer posts & questions as we see fit. |
I doubt at this point the OP is going to return. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. P.S. OP's girlfriend... plenty of fish in the sea ;p |
