| Can you feel your pups microchip? I have just noticed that the last couple of days when I pet Zelda I can feel something under her skin around the back of her neck. It is not a bump or a skin irritation. It is rather small thing (smaller than a grain of rice) under her skin and it moves around when I pet her! It is beginning to freak me out. My boyfriend also felt it when he was petting her this morning. She is microchipped and I am feeling this on the back of her neck. I thought it had to be the micro chip but when I asked my friend she told me I couldn't feel microchips and that it has to be something else but she does have larger dogs. Zelda is tiny so is it possible to actually feel the microchip? |

| I can. It's gross isn't it? I've been able to feel it since he was microchipped and still can 2 years later. At least you know it's still in the same place, and not moving around.

| lol that would be sooo wierd. i bet that's what it is, you can always take her to the vet and have them scan the bump and see if it pops up as her chip. otherwise there's a lot of things it could be! i can't feel izzy's but she is a 60lb dog lol, i can however see her scar from it. |

| I stopped being able to feel Kiko's a few months after it was done. My friend has a cat that is chipped and her microchip can be felt. |

| If it feels like a grain of rice and it moves...it's the microchip!

| I can feel roxy's. It's now closer to her left shoulder. The vet said it's normal for it to shift a little It feels just Luke a little grain of rice. Other people can feel it to when petting her. It's really obvious. |

| Yup, I can feel Belle's chip. It's actually moved onto her right shoulder blade. I can feel Ollie's, too. I even check for them every day to make sure I can still feel them.

| Okay.... I think I felt it!! LOL!! I'm glad because after I had had it done, I had to take him back in a couple months later to have his upper baby canines removed and the receptionist asked me if I wanted to have him microchipped. I was like: Ummmm you all already did a microchip. I was thinking, they better have done it..... I was charged $65.00 for it! |

| Yep, I can feel Zhoie's too. Hers actually moved over below her right shoulder blade. I think it moved from the swelling on her right shoulder when she was injured there as a pup.
