| Training 2 Puppies I have 2 9 week old puppies. A Yorkie and a Chihuahua. I'm having some behavior issues with my Chihuahua. Anytime he gets around my Yorkie, hes extremely hyper. We let them play together and socialize, but even at night, he cries and whines b/c he wants to get out of his crate and play. When he isnt around my Yorkie, hes fine. Doesnt cry in his crate and isnt really hyper. My main problem is at night. He will whine for hours and hours. Then that causes my Yorkie to wake up and get hyper too. Is there anyway to calm him down while hes around her? |

| Where does the yorkie pup sleep at night? Maybe you could try putting them in two crates side by side so they don't feel so alone. When I would train mine I would always give them a special treat in their crate at night. Then I would cover the top of the crate and put relaxing music on. If they whined I would put the music up a little louder and ignore them. It seemed to do the trick, after 2 days they would completely stop whining and I didn't even have to use the music after that.
