| ![]() Hello! I have a 10 month old Yorkie, Sophie. She is a great dog and we love her to pieces, but her barking is driving us nuts!! She is good in a lot of ways, sits, stays, and can follow basic commands that we learned at obedience school, but we still have no luck with barking. She will sit by the window and bark and bark and bark. She also goes NUTS when we see another dog out on a walk. We have tried everything with her, giving her treats, a can of coins, a water bottle, etc. With the treats she learned to bark to try to get treats and the loud noise or squirt of water does nothing to deter her. I would like to know what to do to help curb her barking. She is socialized with other dogs so I'm not sure why she goes nuts on walks and sometimes she can stare out the window silently and other times she just goes crazy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! |
