| What is Your Ferrari Treat???? Hey there YTers!!! Thinking ahead....I would like to know what is your Grand-daddy of all treats that you give your baby during training time. What does your yorkie think is the be-all end all of treats and he will do anything for it?

| Microwaved weanie or chicken. Something that has a load of scent. Liver would be good but I just don't buy it. My baby loves to work for high-scent food and could care less about flavor. He bolts it down and doesn't taste it - he's all smell-driven. I use high-value treats like this only for recall training and stop/stay type training(those commands that could save his life one day)" and his plain old kibble for his regular "trick" training treats. Tibbe will come running like an Olympic track gold medal winner when I call his name and he smells a piece of hot dog!!!

| Ella loves boiled chicken and the Natural Balance food rolls which I cut into small pieces and use for training treats.

| Baked chicken is my training treat. The boiled tends to crumble on me. They will do anything for chicken!

No Longer a Member | Parmesan cheese! just enough to lick off the end of my finger is enough to make Rizzo think he hit the gold mine. Of course this is real parmesean cheese, not that Kraft stuff they keep next to the Ragu. |

| CHEESE! Once she sees that stick of string cheese she starts going through the whole routine with out even commands... it's quite hilarious. She needs to learn that it doesn't work like that..still cute tho.

| We are too afraid of fatty treats like hot dogs or even most cheese. I use chicken breast or green beans.

| Lettuce. Plain, lean, boiled or baked chicken is a good treat. Processed, higher fat meats and most cheeses can easily trigger pancreatitis in a dog that is predisposed. It could just happen all of a sudden one day... Yorkies should eat only low fat foods and treats. My girl would also do anything for banana, but she can't have it anymore.

| i have a very unfussy doggie who will perform tricks for his usual kibble! although he does enjoy the occasional boiled chicken liver pieces and Terra Canis Strolchis 250 g at zooplus the one with bananas in them. he adores bananas but i don't really eat them so these biscuits are perfect. they smell amazing! like cinnamon and doesn't crumble in your pocket either. |

| Believe it or not...Moses loves Honeynut or Cinnamon Burst cheerios. He gets them very rarely due to the sugar, but that's what I used to teach him come, sit, shake and speak! He also loves the chews that fit in his kong! (thanks, YT, for the tip about the Kong!)
