| Maxfield Is Humping.... Ok when I first joined here I warned all of you that I may be asking some stupid questions on here since I am a first time dog owner.... this is one of those times! Maxfield my yorkie who is now a little over 4 months old now likes to hump one of his beds. Specifically, it is a little blue bed that is made from a very soft plush fabric filled with fluffy stuffing so it is quite soft. He humps it so aggressively that this last time he actually got an erection... im assuming that this was the first time because he wasn't mature enough in previous attempts. He sometimes humps blankets while hanging out on the sofa with me but not very often. It is mostly just this one bed. He is not neutered yet, but my question is, is this bad? Should I take this bed away from him? My mom thinks it would be inappropriate when we have guests over to the house, but we don't know if it could be helpful to max to get some of his aggression and energy out on this bed once and a while... any tips on what i should do? should I discourage this behavior? |
