| Hallway Potty Bandit My 8 month old Yorkie has a thing for our hallway. He is partially potty trained. We have a great routine for the morning but in the evening it gets a little sketchy. He has a puppy pad in the kitchen, which he uses as long as he is in the kitchen. If he is not in the kitchen the hallway suffers. He has not been fixed, as I am scared because of what happened to my previous puppy, but I think this may be our issue. Taking him out every two hours at this point seems a but much, or is it? I started teaching him to ring a set of bells that are at the door but that turned into a toy for him so i did away with that. Im not sure what else to do. Please help! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk. If your boy is not neutered, then he probably is marking. I believe the only way to deal with this behavior in an unaltered male is to use belly bands.
