| Fear of Thunder Hi all! My poor Maddy is very afraid during thunderstorms. I try to comfort her and hold her close, but this does not work. Any ideas of anything that works??? she shakes, breathes heavy and is just scared to death. Please help! Thanks so much!! Brenda

| This special shirt seems to be getting good reviews from those whose little ones are afraid of storms. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...p-anxiety.html

| My 2 are afraid of thunder also. The thunder shirt seems to be a hot topic now and is supposed to help. There is also something called DAP which is a phermone (sp). You plug it into the wall and it is supposed to calm the dog.

| My Chase is super scared of thunderstorms too. I got the Thundershirt, and had my first chance to try it Wednesday. It made a HUGE difference. Before the shirt, the smallest rumble of thunder would cause him to shake and pant. With the shirt, he shook a tiny bit for less than a minute (and the storm was 4 hours, at least!), didn't pant at all, and just layed down! It worked great for him |

| We tried out our Thundershirt tonight and it is wonderful! Terrible storms, but Teddy was not panicked or shaking violently, like he normally does.
