Train a 3yr old that was pad trained
I really need help with this. When I got my puppy she was pad trained. We thought that would be okay and left it that way. As she has become older I find that this just doesn't work. If I take her somewhere over night and leave the pads out, she uses the bathroom every where except on the pad. She goes to one place where the pad should be and only that place. We are now trying to re-train her to go outside. Any suggestions?

Welcome. I have 2 that will only pee on pads never outside, one that goes outside or anywhere she wants (lately) and Nikki the senior male I have only had for a year was trained to go outside when I took him but will use the pads or go outside. So i haven't been able to get my 2 that are pad trained to ever go outside. Maybe try putting the pee pads outside and start like a puppy. Take her out regularly and put her on the pad. I hope you can retrain her.
