| Training Time??? I read the sticky about training, thanks BTW, and Sprocket has had basic training and did well, BUT how do you get THE DOG TO PICK UP HIS TOYS?????? Now I saw that very cute video about the little jack russell (I think) who did all kinds of stuff, way cute and Sprocket and I work on the training like bang your dead, or to pick up stuff for me, or we are still working on not barking at the door bell , mostly we do this in 10-15 minute spots w/lots of love and praise only some treats, any other ideas? We have lots of fun in a serious way I believe that manners are important and he does quite well except for the door bell, LOL. But I am always looking for new ideas, thanks for anything.

| I love training in general! Do you use clicker training? It's a really great way to engage with your dog and they seem to pick up on things much faster when using a clicker. Keep in mind, the clicker is only for the beginning stages of training a trick, you do not always have to have the clicker on you at all times. Jackson's got about 50-60 tricks under his belt right now, and we also have a ton of fun with it! I'm so glad to see others interested in training, it really is a blast. If you have any specific trick questions, let me know. But I would check out YouTube channels kikopup, pamelamarxsen, zsianz1 and zakgeorge21 for some trick tutorials.
