YT Addict | Why not the litter? Lexi doesn't use pee pads, nor am I planning on litter training but I'm curious as to why pee pads seem to be preferred over using a litter box. Why not use litter instead of a pee pad?

| The reason I don't use a litter box with litter is that one, you have to keep buying litter, and two---it makes a huge mess! My washable pee pads cost me around $5 each and have been in use for over 4 years now by my two girls and are holding up so well! I got mine at Valethics.com Hope that helps

| When we were training, we used a litter pan with a pee pad in it. The litter was expensive, so that's why we did that. The pan also helps to define the pad area, bc many times they will have front paws on pad and back ones are not. you cannot correct that, they tried, but missed. The pan made her actually jump in and go. I've also heard that sometimes puppies will eat the litter pellets. But never use cat litter under any circumstances.
