| top knot training (help me!) daisy is almost one year old. i know i should have started training her to wear a top knot much much sooner than this. i am letting her hair grow longer and want to be able to put her hair up and out of her little face any tips i should know? she is great with getting her hair brushed, but gets fussy if i pull a snag or take more than 10 min. thanks!! |

| I'm working on keeping a top knot in Harley's hair too. He hates it. and regularly shakes it out. how to I keep it in?

| Here is what worked for me. When I first got Piper she hated having bows in her hair, so I would have her by me and just play with the hair on her head so she got used to having something up there. I then used just the grooming bands in for a week or so. The grooming bands don't have the extra ribbon and beading, so I figured it would be less of an annoyance. After a week or so of the grooming band, I tried a few simple bows. Now as long as the bow is in correctly, she doesn't have a problem with them. |
