| Why does my puppy pee in small little amount so much? Felix seems to pee all the time, he pees and its not big ones unless its early morning when I let him out. The thing is he pees here and there with small little amounts its nothing huge but I am wondering when can he be able to hold it and just pee all at one time instead of small little spurts here and there. He is about 5months now I know that their bladder is developing still but ultimately I hope he just pees all one whenever we let him instead of these small spurts. Please can anyone tell me how to handle this situation? |

| I completely sympathize with you. I have an 8mo. old Yorkie, and he is potty trained. But my 3 1/2 mo. old toy poodle is doing the same thing as your little guy. I honestly think it's just because their bladders are so small. If Bingley has held it for a while he goes in one spot, but if I'm outside with him for quite a while he pees here and there. I think it's just a waiting game--and yes, it's a little frustrating. |

A few things popped into my mind. 1. Drinking too much water 2. Marking territory 3. Urinary Infection I'm leaning toward #2. Is he neutered? Does he hike his leg? | |

| You said the magic word "He". Males mark their territory. Neutering will help, if you don't wait too long.

| TJ pees alot too. Sometimes a big amount and sometimes a small amount. He pees on the pads but he will also pee in every room! He is just over 5 months. I do plan on getting him neutered, but not just yet. I was really hoping to see if his baby teeth will fall out or not. Right now he only has small baby teeth (maybe they are not fully grown out?). Anyway, I can't wait for him to be neutered, I am hoping the peeing all over will stop. I do praise him and give him a cherrio when he goes on the pad (but only if I happen to see he did). He doesn't lift his leg (I hope he doesn't start to do that). He stands and leans into the floor, sometimes he pees and then starts to walk and pee...so fustrating, I have to make sure I have tissues in every pocket! |

| I agreed, He might be marking. You can use bellybands so he doesnt pee all over your home anymore. If you want to check for a urinary infection try to collect some and take it to the vet. Good luck. |

| Stewie does this, too - on his pee pad. I personally think its because I used to give him a treat whenever he went so when he walks past the peepad and is hungry, he pees and gets a treat.

| Maggie's the same way. She'll have 1 big pee when she gets up in the morning and then I think she holds it ALL day when no one is home and then once my husband and I are home at night, she'll do a bunch of little pee's because she gets a treat everytime she uses her potty pad. She's one smart dog!! |
