| I have always slept with them from the moment I brought them home, and I have not had any problems with accidents (on the bed). I feed mine about an hour before I go to bed, give them a potty break, and give them some pretty good play time just before bed. I have never limited their water. I know I am an exceptionally light sleeper, but when mine wake up they automatically come to my face and lick me, so I take them out. Before you know it they learn a routine and are sleeping all night long. I also close my bedroom door because if my dogs ever jump off my bed, they need something, and I don't want them roaming around my house in the middle of the night.

| I started Tinkerbell off in a crate next to my bed. After about 6 weeks or so I felt more confident that she would hold it all night and she has slept with us ever since. I am usually in bed by 10pm and she will be fine until 6:20 am when I get up. |

| Lucy is the greatest snuggler ever. She slept in my bed from her first night home (not my plan, but who could resist). I put pillows all around her. She has never, ever had an accident at night. Maybe once or twice she has whined to go out in the middle of the night, and with good reason. Now sleeping with both her and Ringo - not fun. Ringo likes to sleep at the foot of the bed - but then he gets MAD if your feet accidentally touch him. That's usually when he gets booted off! You would think he would get the message! But, he loves to sleep in my bed and when he comes in .. just standing there . . . waiting for me to invite him up . .. I can't resist him either. I'm a sucker!

| Cody slept in his crate for the first 2 months. During that time we tried a couple of weekend naps and he was a cuddler. When we put him in bed, we closed the bedroom door so he wouldn't roam and get in trouble. He's 8-1/2 months now and he's just starting to give a low bark when he needs to go out (like early one a.m. recently when his tummy had been upset, he woke me up -- good boy!). He now sleeps 8-9 hours with no problem. |
