| My dog walks while he poops! My dog uses the pee mats, which is really good with, except one thing - he walks while he poops so he leaves a trail of poo everywhere! I can't get mad at him, because he STARTS on the pee mat, so he's doing the right thing. But - he walks off the pee mat while he's going and leaves a trail down the hall. Any tips? |

| Girls...you're not alone. For the longest time I thought I was the only one who had the rare 'Walkinpooper' but I found there are others right here on YT. Probably enough that we could start our own support group! |

| Have you tried putting the pad in a tray that physically bounds him to the pad until he's done?

| I tried those plastic ones, that kind of look like a big picture frame, and he walked right off the edge. Are there any with mini-walls? |

| Yes, they are actually called dog litter pans, and you can get ripped off just like i did and pay $20 for one at petco, or you can go to walmart and buy a $4 kitty litter tray. Does the exact same thing. Can you tell I'm still upset? LOL

| I have a poo walker too. I may have to try the cat litter box trick with Pasquale..the only problem is he likes to go to the bathroom ALONE. He wont do anything if i'm in there. With my luck, he'll pee on the corner of the litter box from the outside LoL

| I never really thought about this before. Cooper is a walkinpooper, but he goes outside in the grass so it's never been an issue.

| My Sadie is a walking pooper too. This is how I got to this page. I have never had a dog that walked and pooped at the same time. "ALL ABOARD THE DOODIE TRAIN" Not funny really. I have two yorkies and like jlafz73, I know which one did it. If anyone has any ideas how to stop this or why they do it, I would appreciate your feed back. |

| I think they are just trying to make sure the poop falls off their butts so they move to make it happen quicker. LOL |

| I actually use an ex-pen to corral my poo walkers. Other than a dropped cling-on it's solved the problem for me.
