| Learning from other dogs... by a proud mom I just have to brag a little and like to share my observations. When we got Maggie I taught her 'sit' and 'shake'. She learned fast and when she hears 'sit' she automatically lifts her left front leg. Not quite as she was taught but she looks so cute I never corrected it. Now Mikki is a stubborn little fur butt and she always tries to see how far she can go before she gets in trouble (she must come after her 'daddy' ). All commands are a challenge of wills...LOL. Lately though she 'got it' that if she doesn't sit she'll get no treat and the others got smarter if she tries to steal theirs, so she decided she could actually 'sit' for a change and since she saw it from Maggie she lifts her stubby left front leg too. I never taught her but she does it. Yesterday Minnie did it too probably b/c she saw that Mikki gets a huge praise when she sits and lifts her leg. Now I'm only waiting until Mylo follows suit... Lesson learned: good behaviour is catching... LOL... |
