| Stewie does this, too. and then he walks in the pee w/ his back paws. I have no idea what to do either. Is he neutered?

| Otis does/did this too......so I have been trying a few things the last two weeks. He goes on a pee pad 100% of the time. SO the last two weeks I have been on pee watch. He rings a bell to go out on the porch ( I don't have a yard) and instead of just letting him out I have been going out with him. As soon as he is about to get into position I have been PLACING his paws out further so they don't get squirted and then when he is about to finish I say "careful careful" and move his back legs so he won't step in his pee. The past few days he has done GREAT with no help from me - except a few "careful careful" reminders. BUT I am going to keep going out with him for awhile so I can be there to correct him when/if he needs it. I hate the pee paw thing 'cause not only do I have to clean him up, but if he goes right back in side I have to clean up ! Hope this helps..... |
