lots of crying... Ok, so I know I have only had him for two days, but my new little puppy cries like crazy as soon as he can't see me. a little whimpering in the crate at night, but I just put my hand near it and he stops. I am just worried about the apartment neighbors getting frustrated when I leave - be it for 10 minutes or 3 hours... Suggestions? Thanks!

What about playing some music softly or leaving the TV on where he can see it. That really helped out my older dog when she was a puppy. Currently my puppy does fine b/c my older dog is here to keep him company. Sometimes leaving your fav sweatshirt as a bed helps when you leave too. Good luck.

Your puppy misses his mother and siblings and will need time to adjust to now living with you and his new surroundings. Give him a couple of days. Keep his crate by your bed at night so he knows your close by. Give him something during the day with your scent on it when you leave the house. It will comfort him. Some leave radio's on or tv for company. He's such a baby he needs time to adjust to his new life. Congratulations,
