Toto spoke .... I mean REALLY said a WORD!!!! OK ... I am not crazy!! ... well ... maybe a little "off center"!!

Pat and I were both busy and Toto was sitting up "talking" low in her little "inside voice" ... neither of us responded and suddenly she said "UP"! [This is what we say when we are ready to pick her up and she will come over, turn around and back up to be picked up!!] SHE SAID UP!!! No ... it didn't just "sound" like up .... she clearly said up! WOW ... today "up" .... tomorrow "I want sour cream"!!!

I love this little girl!!!

Now just try to get her to keep on repeating it, and then we can see you both on the Late Show with David Letterman in no time!

We'll go on Letterman with ya.....Pogo sings when we play the harmonica and now Higgins sings backup!

Hey, I believe you, Bettye! We had a cat that would say "hello" just like a human!

But Don giggled when I told him Toto is talkin'......Wants to know what was in that last peanut butter pie you ate.....?

Actually, she HAS said it several times today!!!

It's amazing ... now, if I can just get her to do it on command ..... Helloooo David!!!!

Tell those boys to start packing!!! When we get home I'm gonna get Pat to see if he can get Toto to sing along ... [he has that big ol' set of electronic drums and we have a piano .... your harmonica .... sounds like a band to me?]!!

Now if she can learn the words so she can sing along with Pogo & Higgins .... geez ... do you think WE can finally retire??

Maybe the seven of us can hit every park in the country in our Casitas before we die!!

Tell the "Big Dog" that I haven't made a peanut butter pie since the rally!!

My aunt has a miniature schnauzer, and if you give the command, "SPEAK!" he will give one single bark...."Arf!"
