| ![]() Dudley was about 6 months when trained completely to the litter box. We moved when he was 10 months old and he fell into the pattern of maybe in the box and maybe not. He now goes( he's 2 years old ) mostly outdoors and only uses the box in the middle of the night. |

| ![]() Bentley is in this phase right now where there is no warning...just this morning my hubby took him out and they were out for about 15 min. in which Bentley tee-teed 3 times and then finally went up on the porch, sat down and looked at Errick, so he let him in. Not 5 min later Bentley was on the couch playing w/ one of his toys all the sudden he got up took 2 steps and pooped RIGHT ON MY COUCH!! There was no look, no pacing, no sniffing, NO NOTHING, just squat and go. He has NEVER done this before and thank goodness my couch is leather!! Little Bugger!!!!

| ![]() We brought Maggie home when she was 8 weeks old. The first two months were the months from hell. I took her out every hour during the day and every two hours at night. She slept in her crate until she started sleeping all night. At 4 months old she was sleeping all night, without needing to go PP. She was totally housebroken at 6 months. She gave up her grate for a king size bed (if you know what I mean).

| ![]() Roxie is almost 10 months and maybe has had 3 accidents since she was 6 months ( my fault) but I still would not give her the run of the house when I am not home. She is trained to hit a bell to outside. That has worked out perfectly ![]()

| 10 months...ALMOST got it! We got Chelsea at 9 weeks, and she was NOT trained at all. We do have a doggie door, so once she got the hang of it, it got better. Now 10 month old, she seems almost 95% trained. Just this weekend, we were discussing her success, when suddenly she squatted in front of me....lil stinker! As if she knew, what we were discussing. She sleeps in her crate nightly, and husband lets her out early. She does MOST of her business then, but occasionally I have found the "tootsie rolls" in the kitchen. So, I can fairly say, at 10 months, she is ALMOST housebroken! Chelsea'sMOM ![]() |

| ![]() When we first got Maggie (which was in the summer) we took her outside to go potty. Once winter rolled around, I wasn't wanting to put on 4 layers of clothes to take her out so we started training her on potty pads. I think it took us about 2 months to train her. She probably would have been 6 months old. |

| ![]() that the OP stated that the pup is 3 months old and is in the crate for 7 HOURS AT A TIME. No offense, but I have been fully housetrained since I was 18 months old and I could not hold it for 7 HOURS COULD YOU? My boys have always had the run of the house and have been housetrained/pee pad trained since they were about 5 months, sure they have the occasional accident, but no one human or dog could continually go 7 HOURS without having an accident. You need to make some other arrangements. |
