Vacation advise?? My Mack is 16 weeks old. The second week in January, he will be 5 months old, and we will be leaving for 7 days on vacation, I cannot take him with us. Which would be better? 1) Board him with my groomer who has two other Yorkies (females) to play with? 2) Leave him with my parents to keep him on "my" potty schedule? Any advise would be helpful. He is fairly reliable on potty training, we go outside no potty pads yet, but with weather may try one in the garage. He learned to sit in one evening!!! We are going to work on "down" tonight!

I would say the family would be best. And just to share, we left Sophie for 7 days in October and after 3 days she realized we were gone for a while and completely reversed her potty training b/c she was mad at us. I've just now gotten her back to where she's doing ok.

Yikes! That's not what I wanted to hear. How old was Sophie? He's doing so good, I don't want to mess it up.
