Senior Yorkie Talker | Blind yorkie on dog whisperer I was watching one of my fave shows Dog Whisperer... and there was a blind yorkie! He was soooo cute! I was wondering if anybody else is rasing/ has a "cesar" dog? I'm working with Ares (3 months) and Tank (1 year old boxer) with Cesar's methods. I also saw a yorkie named Candy once on the show but caught it at the end! Any Sex and the City fans out there? Samantha's little "Baby" was adorable and humped like no other! lol Any thoughts?

| I saw this, too! I've used many of Cesar's ideas to raise Jackson. Specifically his exercise, discipline, affection... in that order. I love the man! I think he's very wise in general, not just with dogs. He has a way about him. There's been a few Yorkies on the show; one that attacked ironing boards, one that freaked out when his owner (who was in a Broadway play) put make up on backstage, etc.

| There's a guy on a list that I'm on the rescued a yorkie that was born without eyes. You'd never know it.....he's now a therapy dog....walks, runs around the yard like there is nothing wrong.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I really enjoyed this clip! I've seen the yorkie one with the ironing board, but haven't seen this one yet. That yorkie was so cute, hope to see more yorkies featured on dog whisperer.

| I have a blind yorkie and we let her use her carrier for a refuge sometimes as its a starting point so she knows where she is. Her sister has one eye, limited vision. They are wonderful and get around the house fine, like they could see perfectly. We wear bells, so they know where we are,and have background music playing so they know the territory of the house and they are learning many new commands. Its a challenge but, after all, they are our babies. "Blind dogs see with their hearts" The clip was interesting, thanks for sharing it. |
