| Are we going backward??? We've had our puppy for a week now, and he was doing so well at going outside to go potty, but then he had a couple of accidents. Now it seems like ever since his first accident he now thinks it's okay to pee and poop inside. Do you think that once they go in the house it's all over from there, and you have to start all over? I can just imagine what is going through his mind, "Hey, I did it in here before, I can do it again!" |

| I think I also should mention some background info. Our puppy is a rescue. His mother was rescued from a puppy mill by a friend of a friend of mine. When this gal took the mother, she did not know she was already pregnant. This gal was not set up to take care of the babies, so we ended getting our puppy early. He was only 7 weeks old. I'm sure his potty issues are due to his age. |

| I think his age has a lot to do with it. I do not think that once they have an accident in the house that it is all over from there. Winston has had plenty of accidents in the house...but he is a puppy(16 weeks) and that is what they do. Have you been cleaning up, where there have been accidents, with vinegar? They won't smell their scent if you do that. Just be consistent with the potty training and they catch on eventually. Hang in there and good luck!

| Yes...vinegar is the only thing I know of that will neutralize "their" scent. Even if you don't smell anything they still can and will continue to potty where they smell that they have done it before. All of the other products you have used will probably clean out stains but getting rid of their scent will keep them from continuing in the house. He will still have accidents but that should be expected.
