Potty Trainging Preference for a Show Potential.
If I am training Sasha to potty outside, would this creat problems later if she grows up to be good enough for shows? I am not familiar with potty training for wee pads. She is really doing well going outside. I'm also training her to ring a bell conected to the door when she needs to go.

This would be a good question to post in the
Yorkie Showing & Information - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community section.
I don't really know an answer as I haven't been to a show to see what all they do about the potty stuff.

Our show dogs are trained to pee outside. Of cpourse they will find the worse place to pee when we are mintues away form going into the ring...but htat is all part of the fun.
I do wish though that the little guys ( not show kids just road crew) had been trained to pee pads so when we fly it would be easy to drop a pee pad in the floor and let them do thier business instead of runnning outside an airport to do it.
