WizDog questions Hi! I am thinking about getting the WizDog as our girls are trained to be completely indoors for now. (4th floor walkup and cold winters!) - How easy is the grate to clean? How messy does it get from solid waste? - Does it really fit the pads or will I need to trim them? - Does the word WizDog come off??? (My friends are totally going to laugh when they see this!!) Any other words of advice on using them? Thanks!

I was actually a little disappointed in the product only cause it seems a little "cheaper" in quality than the amount I paid for it. The wizdog site charges $39.95 plus about $10 for shipping. There was another thread where someone found a site selling it for about $25. I would do a search and look for that. | |||

Hi! I am thinking about getting the WizDog as our girls are trained to be completely indoors for now. (4th floor walkup and cold winters!) - How easy is the grate to clean? How messy does it get from solid waste? The grate is easy to clean unless you have very messy waste. I have never has this problem since we got . you can flip it over and role up the wee, wee pad and put in garbage or you can just pick the poop up. - Does it really fit the pads or will I need to trim them? my pads are larger because i purchase the large ones it just hangs over not by much. I do not tim , no need to. - Does the word WizDog come off??? (My friends are totally going to laugh when they see this!!) I did not even notice the name was on ther until you mentioned it. it not very visible Any other words of advice on using them? for first use , use a trining aid for the sent on wee wee pad. Or dab some of your puppy's pee on the pad. Everytime you let puppy out of the crate place them on the wizdog and say go potty. Hope puppy likes it.

Thank you both! I think we might try it. Seems like a cleaner system than the white frame with pads that we got from Petco.

It is most definately a cleaner system once you get your baby accustomed to it. We are getting there slowly. We have our good days and bad days! But hopefully the end is near! At least we don't have to clean up pee that has gotten under the pad everyday!
