| What has happened? Ruby has been potty trained for awhile now. We purchased the UGODOG potty system and she went on it with no problem and has been using it without accidents for 4 months. All of a sudden in the past week she has been stepping on it with her front paws but peeing on the floor. Not every time but at least 50% of the time. There have even been a few times when she wasn't even anywhere near the potty and she peed. She gets a small treat when she goes on the potty and I see it, She always has. What could be the problem? I can't figure this out. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Sure wish I had an answer to that one. Roxy has done that before too. I could never figure it out. It was as if she intentionally did it that way. At this point I intend to keep pee pad out all year, but she always goes outside this time of year. Has only used pee pad 3 times all summer. Twice were right at the edge of pee pad. Hope you can figure it out.

| I was using the UgoDog and my dog did the same thing. He was really good at first then he started peeing near it but not on it or he would do the front paws on it and pee on the floor, so I just gave up and trained him to go outside.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | My guess is something happened that freaked her out a little and she refuses to get on it anymore. Perhaps one of her nails got stuck in the mesh pads, it hard to say what happened. However, she is telling you something, and I believe that she's telling you she doesn't like it.

| I have this same problem with Mocha, but we just use the disposable potty pads. He knows to go on the pad, but sometimes he'll go right on the edge and miss it, or he'll pee right beside it, or he'll completely miss it altogether! I just don't get it either I don't think I'll ever be able to call him 100% potty trained
