yup that is why I was being careful as you where new and did not know you and also you would not know to be careful as you do not travel in the groups I do.

I have been told duct tape can be used to help slow the typing down but I have found it of little use. As if I need to say something it will come out.

No actually you can not in Canada any longer unless you wish to land your tail in court.
until the case that is the system gets over turned best to be careful what is said about a canadain by another canadain on a board in public.
The lady in the courts right now had proof and stated on a board that her dog was from a said mill and that it was sick and she got a boat laod of proof along with SPCA report saying they do not have a clean place and she in a fight for her life.
Not willing to take the risk as now the law is Canada is under attack it just not wise unless you got a bank roll to fight it.
AS for being suspicious it pays to be careful when you are working on miller stuff and other things. Lifes works can go poof in seconds on one wrong word in public.

Hi all.

I know this post is nearly 1 year old, but there are things happening now that involve Brad and the dog training world.

But first, a short intro--I do actually have a Yorkie, but he's a mix (a "dorkie"...ugh...I hate the whole "designer dog" trend, but our "dorkie" is from a kill shelter). He is our baby and he is extremely cute/funny.

That said, around six months before the initial post here, this was posted on a different board:

When I spoke to Brad on the phone prior to the Seminar I voiced concern whether all the dogs were large and he said there was nothing to worry about they were all sizes. 90 percent of the dogs were vicious and huge. They were growling and barking fiercly when Brad was beating them and manhandling them. My Mica got scared and was trying to protect me so she barked. Brad came and grabbed Mica by her harness and literally hung her up in air way above his head and the neck part of her harness was choking her little neck. He put her up his jacket and ridiculed her and pulled her bow off her head. Then he had her in the middle of the ring and she was too afraid to walk so he dragged her around like a mop in front of everyone. Then a big Belgian Sheppard who got loose from his master ran at her and Brad only stopped this dog at the last minute from attacking Mica even thought the owners yelled at Brad "No, no he'll kill her". I have never been so nervous through this entire seminar. He refused to let me hold Mica and she was scared, shaking, and cold lying on the concrete floor. I just can't believe that you support and sponsor someone who is so cruel to animals as Brad Patteson showed during the course of this seminar. After this happened Mica started to cough and choke the rest of the day and ultimately I had to rush her to the emergency Vet on call late that night because she was vomiting and it ended up that by hanging her by her harness for that length of time he had chokend her and injured her little throat and it was all inflammed. Mica required an injection of a narcotic to get her to stop choking and coughing, Prednisone to reduce the inflammation, and 7 days of antibiotics to prevent a secondary infection from occurring.

This woman's story is becoming all too common in my searches/research. I am gathering info re: people whose dogs have suffered injuries/pain/fear from Brad himself or his CETs. Brad in fact targeted me earlier this month, attempting to threaten me with a defamation lawsuit if I didn't say "I'm sowwy" and retract whatever I'd said about him (FTR, I had a group on Facebook that was dedicated to anti-Brad techniques and spreading the word about Brad's methodology; that was the extent of my "sins" against Brad, but he still threatened to "track me down".

But good luck to him. I happen to live in the good old United States. ;)

Also, I applaud all of you who wrote into Animal Planet to get Brad's show off of the U.S. version; whatever you did, worked (and his show hasn't been seen on AP/US since the Fall). My group was initially created after I'd seen his show, and we too worked to write in to AP to get it off. Unfortunately, it is still supposedly shown on Animal Planet UK (an even bigger affront to Victoria Stilwell)...so there is much work to do.

I'm sorry that my first post has to be this one, but this is what I'm doing these days (making connections, talking, researching); I found the link to this group after a deep Google search. Thanks and I hope everyone's little cuties are doing great.

I HATE Brad and his techniques with a passion and am glad it's getting attention as to how awful this guy is.

I have never had the displeasure of seeing this "trainer" or his program, but he sounds terrible. If Mica were my dog, I would have removed her immediately from that "seminar" or called 911 for help, if necessary.

Where is the I hate Brad FB page? We should all join!
