| Patrick still crying in the car Patrick will be 6 months old next week and he is still crying in the car. I take him to work with me every morning and it is only a 5 minute drive. He has a Lookout Snoozer seat, which he sits in and he seems to be looking out the window, but his whimpers and shakes the entire time we are driving and I feel so sorry for him that I am not sure what to do. I have tried treats, crates, soothing voice, ignoring him, giving him the "Dog Whisperer touch" on his flanks to reset his focus, I have a total of five Dog training/problem puppy books.....nothing changes. The car is a terrifying thing to him and I want him to enjoy it. Any thoughts?

| Couple of mine like to be under a blanket. I buy soft baby blankets.

| Thank you for the suggestion. I will try a lightweight blanket to see if that makes him feel more secure in the car.
