| I'm ruining my dog! I got my dog Moses at 10 months old from a breeder that was training him for show. He is a beautiful little guy, but my goodness! what a difference from my other yorkies. He was trained to walk beside you, not in front. So every 5 steps, he is stopping and looking up at me. And always circling around if he wasn't on my left. For 3 months, he would never pee while he was on a lead, only when he was off. He would never enter a door ahead of me, so I am always urging him to go in. Now I am reading that this is the way they are supposed to act. We haven't been able to go on walks yet, first he broke his leg, then it was amputated so he is still recuperating. He must have a bladder the size of a labrador. He will go in the morning but if he goes when I get home from work, he will most likely not go again til the next morning! So, I am ruining him by making him enter the door first, letting him run ahead of me on his lead and encouraging him to pee every time I take him out! Bad thing about the peeing so seldom, when he does go, it is very strong. But he is a sweetie and he is my baby, so as long as he doesn't pee on the carpet, he's fine with me. |

| What you do is called SPOILING and it is the natural right of a Yorkie... He sounds like a little gentleman and I'm sure he will blossom in your care into the same terror we all have... |
