| Undecided..... So ive read some threads about litter training your puppy. Im still not sure if this is good or bad idea. Has anyone on here successfully done this? Can you transition them from the box to outside? Just not sure if this is an effective way to train or if it will make things more difficult. As ive said before ive only owned large dogs and never had problems with housebreaking my shepherd or my pittie. and obviously with dogs of this size a little box was not an option lol. thanks in advance!

| My yorkie is trained on paper (pee pads) and goes outside. I have never trained any of my dogs to a litter box before so I can't help you there, sorry. |

| Uni is litter box trained with a pad inside. But once they get it, they will know what "go pee" means, and will do it on command. So at work Uni uses the box, at home it's just the pad on the floor, and on walks she'll do her business outside. I would suggest keeping with one method until they really "get it" then you can switch it up depending on where you are and when they need to go.
