| Move/Potty question We are in the process of buying a house. I want to teach my outside trained dog to use pads or a litter pan in addition to going outside. When we move into the new house, would this be a good time to teach him? TIA |

| I'm sorry I don't have any real advice for you... it sounds like a daunting task, and I wish you the best of luck!!!! From my amateur but (I hope) somewhat reasoned understanding of potty training in general, it sounds like timing the new potty training with moving would be a good plan. Perhaps you could have the litter box outside at first, and first train him to use it while its outside before you move it inside. Or you could take a bit of dirt/grass that he's peed on outside and put it in his litter box inside. Just a couple random thoughts.... hopefully others who have trained in the same way you are trying to will be able to help you with actual experience. Good luck, Lauren & Nikko |

| My answer would sort of depend on why you want him to use the pads or litter box, will it be inside the house?
