| ![]() My 4 month old yorkie humps me, and only me. I put his behavior in check.. I went to the vet today and I asked her about it.. She said that he will probably always try to do that. EVENafter being neutered because right now its not a sexual act, its a dominance act..What she recommended was..that with non wanted humping, biting.. make some sort of noise like AhhH or OUCH! that makes him look at you, and then put him in confienment for like 5 minutes..because what this represents is..If he was playing with another puppy and he was to bite, the puppy would yelp, run away and not play with him..Thats what your showing him by screamin like a fool and putting him away.. So after you do that, you bring him back out to "play nice" and if he continues repeat.. and eventually it will stick in his head.. She then said that give it two weeks, if it doesnt get better then you resort to the "punishment" which would just be something like shaking cans with pennies in it..or spray water. |

| ![]() This little guy sounds like he's a tuf cookie Here are some tricks you can try Stand in front of him and walk forward to make him back up if you want his attention Doors ..... you go through first When you play with him have him lay down on his back and keep him in that position for a bit If he acts up and does something you don't like .... lightly but with enough force to keep him still take him by the neck and pin him to the floor These are some tricks of the trade to show who's top dog in your house
