| Help with House breaking I am new to this forum and am here because I am having a terrible time house breaking my Yorkie, Chico, who will be one in Oct. He is crate trained and doesn't go in his crate. When I take him out first thing in the morning, he does everything. I try to take him out about every 2 to 3 hours and after I feed him. He always pees when I take him out but seldom poops. Then he will come in and poop in the house. He knows he is wrong because he always runs under the bed. He also sometimes pees in the house even though he is taken out often. He is a wonderful animal and I love him to death, but he just doesn't get the idea of going to the bathroom outside. |

| Almost the same problem as VMS Greetings Everybody, I'm having almost the same prob. except my Yorkie is 2 y.o. She was potty trained at the house she came from, but since she's been with me I think she's either forgotten how to go outside or is scared/nervous. Or maybe I just don't know her 'signal' for going out, since she will not go stand by the door to let me know. I hate confining her to the kitchen, but my carpets will be ruined.
