| It was going so well... Ella was probably about 95% potty trained on the pads prior to spaying her at 6 months. Since then I come home to more and more areas where she has peed or pooped, not on her pad. She also poops like 5-6 times A DAY. Is that normal? She is about 10 months now. It seems like everything fell apart after the spay, which I heard can happen. I have put up with it, but we have just purchased a new home and will be moving in a couple months. I want to address this situation NOW! She is also chewing things other than the dog toys that are all over the apartment. I know puppies chew, but she never did this when she was younger. I have an older yorkie who is a big chewer and they have been buddying up lately. I think Ella is learning this behavior from Lucy. We try to keep things off the floor, except for the chew toys to help prevent this. I need all the advice I can get! I think I will start putting Ella back in her expen during the day until she starts proving herself again. What about the chewing? I never catch them in the act, I just wake up to the damage. Another thing I am concerned about is that Ella used to cry when we put her in her expen at night which is why we started letting her sleep outside of it at night. I KNOW this will happen again...is there anything I can do to prevent this? We live in an apartment and we've had a complaint from a neighbor before.

| I also wanted to add that we have been giving them extra attention, thinking that maybe they are bored and acting out, but I haven't seen much of a change. I know that there is such a thing as a well-behaved dog. I also know that I am not the only one with a full-time job outside of the home!

| i'm a new yorkie owner so i dont know too much... but i'm under the understanding that the better quality the food they eat is, the less they poop... |
