| Marking Problems. Hi guys. Beans is a little over a year old and marks in the house. We rescued him at six months at which time I had him immediately neutered. I thought the neutering would stop the marking but it has not. Any suggestions? Thanks. Elaine |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | My son's dog started marking when he visited our house after we got Joey, he had never marked before, and never even lifted his leg to pee, and had been neutered for years. Something about Joey changed all that, and I think my son's dog, just felt like this was his house or something. We now use belly bands when he comes to visit. Many of the YT vendors make the bands, and they are basically a strip of cloth, with a Velcro closure that hold a sanitary pad in place. Some people use urine incontinence pads, I guess it depends on how much the dog marks, but we take it off for when he goes outside to urinate.

| Thanks guys. I'm going to order a band. He is neutered so I'm not worried about my girls getting pregnant. All are spayed and neutered. I only have trouble with two. Lilly who is two years old and still will pee and Beans who is a year old. My other three are fine. It's just these two Bonnie and Clydes. I'm getting very frustrated. The carpets upstairs now have to be replaced and I guess I'll be putting laminate up there too. We keep them all down on the main floor until bed time and then god forbid we leave them down here they will scream all night until they come to bed with us. Lilly is 3 lbs. and Beans is 6 lbs. so with Lilly her little piddles you hardly see which makes it hard for finding and cleaning until you start to smell it. I am constantly shampooing and now the laminates I'm worried will get ruined too if i don't get the pee up immediately. I'm a clean freak who is ready to pull her hair out. Elaine |
