She won't poop on the pee pads! For now I've given up potty training outside, because my little girl has been doing great with the pee pads! No matter where she is she goes straight to that pad and pees, however, she has never pooped on it! She sneaks under the dining table and goes there! Eventually I'd like to move the pads outside, and have her go there, but first I'd like us to do all our business in one spot! How can I convince the little monkey to go on the pad? Sometimes I think she does it because she knows I don't want her to lol the look on her face is priceless!

Hi, My little Krystal is doing the same thing. I would love to know if anyone has cured their "little darling" of the same behavior. Dion

I'll give that a try, but I'm afraid she'll just pee on both! She's just a tad bit ornery sometimes, and I don't think she'd differentiate between a pee pad and a poop pad lol.

Some dogs will not poop and pee in the same spot. My Lady is one of them. I think she just hates soiling her house. She will sneak off to a closet or my guestroom if she gets caught and can't hold it until our walk. You could try putting a separate pad down in a different place to see if that works.

i have the same problem of molly not pooping on her pad. ironically, she used to poop on the pad and pee on the carpet. now she poops anywhere but always pees on the pad. haha maybe it just takes more reinforcement since they don't go poo as often as they pee? i'm planning on practicing this weekend by taking molly to the pad first thing in the morning and we're not leaving it until she poos on it and gets a treat.

OMG, Jemma is a real bi&%^, using in kidding terms. In the morning she goes pee. But she'll stand there and I'm thinking, she's waiting for me to turn away. So took a little treat and walked near her pad. I pointed to the paper and said paper. She squated immediately on the paper. She got the treat. Now 10 minutes she comes to me and sits and does that growling mumble throttle in her throat, lol. I get up and follow her. Ahhh the paper, maybe she did poo? No such luck. She did 2 drops for another treat. lololol. A hour later the same thing, 2 drops. Ummm no Jemma this isn't going to work. You'll be a porky. As far as poo? I think Yorkies have a thing about pooing and peeing in the same spot. She only does once in awhile on paper. ONCE IN AWHILE. Not good and frustrating. Especially since my house is entirely carpeting accept for the kitchen and bathroom. She will also pee on the area rug as well. And it's close to the door. No, she's not telling me she has to go out. grrrr, and I stopped giving her treats for 2 drops. lol

Poops standing up on hind legs My little girl was peeing on the pee pee pads and pooping right along side, we couldn't figure it out either and then I waited and watched and saw that she stands straight up on her hindlegs leaning her front paws on her carrier to poop, very strange have you ever heard of such a thing? So we moved the pee pee pad right next to her carrier inside the little octagon play pen area we purchased for her, put a scrap of linoleum down on my berber to protect the carpet while I'm away during the day in case she misses, so she has her pee pee pad right next to her crate and it works great! She pees on the pads and then leans on her crate standing on her hind legs and poops and is on the papers.

| well this is nice to know i am not the only one with this problem... she always pee on her pee pad but NEVER EVER poops on it she will poop like away from it. I will try the 2nd pee pad suggestion, i hope that works...I am amazed how many other people have the same issue, it makes me feel better.

The second pad hasn't worked at all! She acts like she has no idea what it's for, she won't even pee on it! lol She's an oddball. So no one has ever solved this problem? lol. At least IMO, the poop is much easier to pick up off the carpet then the pee. I guess I'll just be grateful, and hopefully we'll be able to do everything outside!
