| Potty trained pup...most of the time We have a young puppy, almost 3 months, who knows to go potty in our bathroom. For the most part, he does, but every now and then, he pees in our living room (luckily, he only poops in our bathroom thus far), as though he's too lazy to walk to the bathroom. We clean the areas well - using the enzyme cleaners, etc - but he's finding new and different areas in the room, probably around a third of the time. Seems like too much pee to be marking. Any advice on how to get him to stop? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | It will take time. The pup is only 3 months old and unless your on him constantly he will have accidents. Believe me your doing well. Remember they have small bladders and their hold time is very short.

| Thanks for the vote of confidence...however, it's gotten worse! Now he's doing fine at night when we sleep, but during the day, when he was more access to other parts of the apartment, he's pooping or peeing in different areas half the time. If we catch him in time, we pick him up and bring him back to the bathroom, but he's just too quick for us sometime. Any one have any advice? |

YT 2000 Club Member | I crate Jasmine. She is 14 wks old now. If I can't watch her closely, then she goes into her crate, like when I am cleaning house, etc. Other than that she is out with me, but I have to watch her very close and I take her outside every two to two and half hours. So far during the days she is fine. She sleeps through the night, but if we don't take her out right when we get up, she will have an accident in her crate. Don't get discouraged, it takes awhile to housetrain, but the end will results will be worth it all in the long run. Soon their first year will pass and we will miss these puppy days..................or not........LOL
