| Potty training Leila--Very frustrated! So I decided I wanted to use the pads for Leila since I have to be at school all day (elementary teacher) and outdoors when I'm at home (since Tyson is only out doors). Anyways she is doing good with both while she is confined. But the second I let her out to eat/play ect she will go ANYWHERE. I was playing with her on my bed and she just went without any notice. She will sometimes squat like she is going to go but nothing comes out. It's like when she is out of her area she will go every 5 minutes. I know there bladders don't hold a lot but seriously I know she shouldn't have to go every five minutes. And it's not even a lot, It will be a dime size here and there. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Could she have a bladder infection or something?

| I would have her looked at by the vet. It's not unusual for them to fake potty outside for a treat but to do it when there not trained. I would just for peace of mind.

| I too agree that it's unusual for them to have to go every 5 minutes or so. Please have her checked by a vet to rule out any infections. She should be able to hold it at least a half hour from the last time she went (depending on how old she is), unless she is not going all the way when she does relieve herself outside. Sometimes, they don't go all at one time and need to 2 times, before their bladder is completely empty. This does not happen all the time with Millie, but it does happen sometimes. I do notice that it has helped to crate train Millie, because I notice that she holds it for longer periods of time now, than she did before. |

| I agreed every 5 min is too soon unless she is not finishing when she goes outside. To be safe I will have her check for a UTI. Also when you see her squatting even if she doesnt do anything take her outside or to the pad and always praise her when she goes in the rite place. Good luck. |
